Youtrendme offers the opportunity to help other members by matching items or simply creating amazing outfits from hand-picked stylish retailers. You can meet and friend other members with similar interests, relieve your everyday stress by putting together awesome outfits. In addition, you will accumulate points to be used against purchases of clothing and accessories.
What's in it for me?
Simple. You gain points. What do points do? Good question. You can redeem your youtrendme points for cash back!!
What if I am not fashion savvy??
Youtrendme is the place for you. You can sign up, simply place a match request and other members will dress you up for any event. Just like matchers, requesters also accumulate points that can be used towards purchases of trendy clothing. You will also accumulate points for each purchase. The points earned are redeemable for cash back!
What if I do not live in the United States??
You can still create outfits or make matches. At this time, we are not able to issue reward points to members who live outside the United States.
How do I get started?
Click on "sign up" and enter your basic information. You will receive an email confirmation. Login to your email and follow the verification steps as instructed. Your profile will be created accordingly.
How is youtrendme structured?
The main sections of the website are: profile, youtrend, trendme, trends, clothes and discounts. Other functionalities include: messages and notifications. Click on each item to read more about their individual functionality.

How does "profile" work?
In the profile section, members enter basic information about themselves. They can choose favorite colors, brands, and styles. The information in your profile will help other members create outfits and matches for you.
How do I send a friend request?
From the members profile page, click on "add friend" located under the member profile picture. A friend request notification is sent out. The friend request can also be initiated from the "search member" area by clicking on the "add friend" button next to the members name.
How do I accept/decline a friend request?
Whenever another member friends you, the "friend request" icon displays a numbered notification in blue:
. Click on it to see who sent the request. Then, click on "friend request" and you will have the option to accept, decline or hide.
Go to the profile of the member you want to remove. On the far right corner of the profile section, you will see an x sign. Click on it and the system will give you a removal verification. Verify by clicking on "remove" and the profile is removed from your friend's list.
How does the news feed work?
Members will see updates on site activities including new match requests, new friendships, items liked etc. Member can click on "view all comments and news" located on the upper right hand side of their profile page to see an extended view of the wall posts and news.
How do I search for members?
Click on "member" section on the top right corner of the screen. In the search window, enter the name of the person you are searching for. You may also search for members with similar interests to yours by selecting a "style" on the left hand side and hit search.

What is "youtrend" section?
This is the section where members can create matches for other members. It consists of two sub-sections:
- "match requests" - Contains all current match requests from site members.
- "youtrendme room" - Contains matches you have made, a match queue, containing the matches you have saved to work on as well as a member "palette" where you have saved some of your favorite items.
"youtrend room" consists of 4 (four) sub-sections:
- "palette" - The area where members save their favorite items from the retailers catalogues. These items can be used to create outfits or matches, or just save to use at a later date.
- "queue" - Members can save match requests from other members here to work on at a later time.
- "matches" - All the matches that you have made for other youtrendme members are stored here. You can review your work by clicking on the information icon
below each match.
Members can search for clothes and add preferred clothing items to the palette. These items can also be used to make a match or create outfits.
How do I add items to my palette?
Items can be added to the palette directly from the "search clothes" section. Once you have found an item that you like or wish to utilize in making an outfit, click on the
sign located at the bottom left corner of the item picture.
Members can save member match requests here if they would like to return and work on proposing a match/outfit at a later time.
What is the "matches" section?
This page is for reviewing all the matches that you have made for other youtrendme members. You can review each of the requests by clicking the information icon
below each match.
All active match requests from members of the website reside here.
How do I start working on a match proposal?
Click on "match requests" section. Click on the
icon to find out more about the request, including items, colors, price ranges and the requester's profile information. While on the information page, you click on "start match" to start working on the match request. Click on the hanger icon
to save the item to the queue and work on it later, or click on the red dress icon
to start on working on a match request.
From "match requests" section or the "queue" select the a match request to work on. Make sure to read about the member requesting the match, who they are, what colors and style they like. Click on the red dress icon
to start the match process. If you have already found the item you want to use in the match request and have placed in your palette, simply drag it to the "i need" box. If you would like to look for an item then select "search clothes" to find that perfect match. You can drag any item from the "search clothes" results. Once you are done adding items to the "i need" section, click on "submit match".
In "trendme" members can request an item match or a full outfit. It consists of two sub -sections:
- "trendme room" - Contains all match request submissions.
- "matches for me" - Contains all match / outfit requests history.
"trendme room" consists of 4 (four) sections:
- "request" - Members can submit a match/outfit request in this page.
- "trends" - Browse outfits/trends that other members have created.
- "closet" - Members have the ability to upload photos of items they own that they want to use in match requests.
- "suggestions" - Your friends on youtrendme are able to send you clothing, accessories and shoes that they have found that they think you might enjoy!
Click on "submit request". Select gender and the mannequin silhouette will change according to the gender choice. Click on any area of the body under the "i have" section, to add item/s for which you need a match to go with: example: body-> dresses -> add a picture-> notes-> add item. If you don't have any items or need a full outfit, leave this section blank. Next, populate the "i need" section: example: feet-> shoes -> style -> color -> price range -> event -> notes. Finally select "add item" to add it to the list. You can select more items in the same category by clicking on the + sign or select another area of the body (example: legs). Once you are done populating your request, click on "submit request". You will receive a notification once other members start creating matches for you.
What is "closet" section?
Your closet is used to store items that you currently own. You can use the items in your closet to quickly submit a match request. Add items to your closet by clicking "add to closet", or emailing images of your items to uploads@youtrendme.com. When emailing images of items, it may take up to 15 minutes to appear in your closet. (you must use the email account that was used to register your youtrendme account.
What is "suggestions" section?
These are recommendations of clothing, accessories or shoes your friends think you'll like. If you like a suggestion you can add it into your palette.
What is "matches for me" section?
All match / outfits that you have requested are stored in this section as well as match/outfit other members have submited for you.
How do I vew a match proposal?
Go to "matches for me" under "trendme" section. Select one of the requests you have submitted and click on "view matches". You will find the proposed item/s in the "I need" section of the page. You can click on the item for more information.

What is "trends" section?
This page contains all outfits created from other members. This section consists of two main sub-sections: "search trends" and "create trends"
How do I search for a trend (outfit)?
Click on "trends" and narrow down your search by gender, season and style. Then click on "search". You will be presented with a list of outfits made by other members and meet your search criteria. If you like an outfit you can click on the

Once you are in the "trends" section, on the left side menu select "create trend". You can name the outfit, select the gender, season and style. Next, select all items making the outfit from your "palette". Click on "save". You have now created a trend/outfit!

How do I search for clothes ?
Click on "clothes" to go to our search section. You can enter a keyword or utilize our dropdown "categories" to narrow down your search. You can also select a price range, select how you would like the results presented and also narrow down by retailer. Finally you can filter by color as well. Note that as you select choices the "criteria" section is populated. You can remove criteria as you wish to broaden your search.
How do I look at an item details?
Upon obtaining search results, you can click on any item. The item will be displayed in a larger window with a large picture and description. You can click on the picture to go to the retailer's website to either obtain further detail or purchase.
Where can I purchase an item that I find in the "search clothes" section?

How do I suggest an item to a friend?
While searching clothes, if you find somthing you think one of your youtrendme friends might like, you can click on the
. Start typing your friend's name and the intelligent system will present you with a selection of names. Select your friend and click on "suggest". Your friend will be notified of the suggestion and item details.
In this section, members can find the latest discounts and sale promotions from our retailer partners.
How do I use the discount code?
Once you find an item that you would like to purchase click on it, the item will be displayed in a larger window with a large picture and description. You can click on "buy now" to go to the retailer's website to either obtain further information on the item or to purchase the item. When you get to the check out at the retailer's website make sure to utilize the coupon code that we have provided. You will receive the retailer's discount while earning cash back points at youtrendme!

How do I make a purchase?
Simply click on an item you find in our catalogs, in your palette, or from a match proposal for you from another member. We will send you to the retailers website and you can complete the purchase there at the actual retailer price. We obtain information back from our partners and reward you points for your purchase. If you click from a match/outfit proposal, both you, the purchaser and member who created the match are awarded points!
Does it cost more to purchase clothes through youtrendme.com?
Absolutely not! Youtrendme delivers your favorite retailers catalogs at your fingertips. You can browse through numerous retailers at once, or limit to your favorite in our search clothes area. Actual purchases are made at the retailer website at no additional cost. However, by first coming through the youtrendme website, we are able to award you with points redeemable for cash back!
What if I make an additional purchase on the retailer's website, will I still earn cash back?
Yes! Once you have gone to a retailer's website using a link on youtrendme, all purchases you make will count towards cash back.
Can I still use my coupons or gift certificates for my favorite stores?
Yes! You may still use any discount codes, coupons or gift cards that you have for the retailers. By first coming through the youtrendme website, you also receive points that are redeemable for cash back!
Do I still earn points if I make a purchase utilizing coupons?
Absolutely. You will earn points/cash back based on the final price of the article you purchsed on our retailer partner's website.
How do I get rewarded cash back?
There are several ways to earn points/cash back on youtrendme.com! 1) Any purchase you make at one of our retail partners will earn points! 2) If another member purchases an item from a match you created from them you will earn points! 3) If a member purchases an item from an outfit you have created, you will earn points!
How do I know how many points I have accumulated through purchases or matches?
At the profile information, on the right side of your profile picture you will notice "points" section capturing the amount you have accumulated so far.
How and when can I redeem my points?
Click on "cash back" located at the profile information, on the right side of your profile picture. Next click on "redeem points". You need a minimum of 2,000 points to be able to redeem. We will in turn send a Visa gift card!

What is "messages" section?
This area allows you to send a private email message to members you are friends with.
How do I compose a message?
Click on. Select "new message" and a message window will appear. Type the name of friend in the "to:" section. The intelligent system will present you with a selection of names from your friend's list that match your typing. Once you have located a friend you like to message, click inside the text window to compose your message. When ready to send, click on "send message".
How do I reply to a message?
Click on the
icon in your profile. Click on the title of the message you would like to reply to. You will see the entire message string with time and date stamp. Type your message in the "reply" text window to compose your message. When ready to send, click on "reply".
Members will receive a notifications anytime there is a match for them, clothing suggestions, messages, friend requests, or if someone likes an outfit created by the member.
How do I check "notifications"?
Click on notification icon
on your profile. Current notifications will be displayed. Members will receive a notifications anytime there is a match for them, clothing suggestions, messages, friend requests, or if someone likes an outfit created by the member.
